“We sought Lacey and Maverick’s (Lacey’s dog) help after our son was bitten by a dog. Lacey immediately put us at ease and was able to help our son work through that difficult experience with warmth and kindness. We highly recommend her services!”

OCD treatment looks very different from traditional talk therapy. When working with children and teens, a collaborative, team-based approach is essential.
Lacey Pacheco, owner of Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment, offers an introductory class that provides an overview of OCD, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)—evidence-based treatment approaches specifically designed for OCD. The class also introduces the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) program for parents. Several of our clinicians are trained in SPACE and work individually with parents and families to help support children and teens throughout the treatment process. SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is an evidence-based training program created by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center. It helps parents of anxious or OCD-affected children. Instead of treating the child directly, the program coaches parents to adjust their own behaviors to reduce the child’s anxiety. Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment is proud to partner with Laura Thompson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), helping to streamline provider care and enhance communication across the treatment process. For OCD treatment, the gold standard includes evidence-based psychotherapy such as ERP in combination with appropriate medication management. Laura will be in the Boulder office on Fridays and will continue seeing clients throughout the week via telehealth. She is also available to support our Fort Collins clients through telehealth appointments, expanding access to care across both locations. In addition, Laura will be in-network with insurance, helping to improve accessibility for clients seeking psychiatric medication management support.

Laura Thompson is licensed to practice independently in the state of Colorado under full practice authority. She is a holistic psychiatric specialist providing expert, trauma-informed outpatient care for adolescents (12+) and adults. Specializing in OCD, anxiety, and ADHD, Laura blends advanced neurobiology with a heart-centered approach. Motivated by a desire to treat the whole person—not just a diagnosis—she founded Vantage Psychiatric Care to create a personalized, compassionate space where patients can regain clarity and peace. Her practice is safe, inclusive, and welcoming to all.

Laura believes medication is most effective when paired with therapy, taking a holistic approach to treatment. She also views sleep as a foundational component of mental health, integrating thorough sleep assessments and CBT-I to support overall well-being.

She brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, navigating ADHD and anxiety herself and supporting her own neurodiverse children through the mental health system. This allows her to build authentic, collaborative relationships grounded in empathy and real-world understanding.

Welcome Kasi! Kasi Hill is a therapist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, couples, and young women through life’s most complex and transformative seasons.
She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy, and brings a thoughtful, structured, and deeply human approach to her work. Kasi helps clients build awareness, take ownership of their choices, and move toward lives that feel more aligned, intentional, and meaningful.

Kasi has specialized training in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related conditions. She utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD, as well as Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). Through these approaches, she supports clients in disengaging from obsessive thought patterns, reducing compulsive behaviors, and developing a more flexible, empowered relationship with uncertainty and distress. Her areas of focus include working with couples, children, adolescents, young women, and families navigating relationship challenges, identity development, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. She also works with individuals experiencing anxiety and obsessive thought patterns, helping them build resilience, reduce avoidance, and increase psychological flexibility. Kasi brings a direct yet compassionate presence into the therapy room, creating a space where clients feel supported, challenged, and genuinely understood.

At the core of her work is the belief that people are not broken. Rather than focusing on pathology, Kasi helps clients reconnect with their strengths, clarify what matters most to them, and develop the skills needed to create lasting, meaningful change. Her style is collaborative, grounded, and empowering—balancing accountability with genuine care. Kasi is committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship that feels both safe and honest, where growth is not only possible, but expected.
