First up: Kim Stack, Administrator
We’re kicking off our Management Team Spotlight with the woman helping lead the way at Avir at Bowie, our Administrator, Kim Stack! ❤️
Kim’s story is a true example of growing where you’re planted. Her career in long-term care began as a dishwasher. Over the years, she worked her way through many different roles, including cook, Certified Dietary Manager, HR/Payroll, and the Business Office, where she learned the billing side of healthcare.
With years of knowledge and experience behind her, Kim was encouraged to take the next step into administration. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University in December 2012 with her bachelor’s degree and became a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator in 2016.
Her journey as an administrator took her to Crowell and Mineral Wells before finally bringing her back home to Bowie in February 2022. And home is exactly where she wanted to be. ❤️
In November 2027, Kim will celebrate an incredible 40 YEARS with the company! From washing dishes to leading a facility, her story is a reminder that hard work, dedication, and a willingness to keep learning can take you places you never imagined.
Kim says what she loves most about her job is taking care of others and helping people in any way she can.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, Douglas, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. She loves family movie time, Red Lobster, Christian music, and anyone who works with Kim knows that if the right song comes on, she just might break out dancing! 💃😂
One lesson Kim holds close is simple but important: Don’t hold onto grudges with the people you love. Let it go, make things right, and don’t wait until it’s too late.
