We share a lot about serving others and about others supporting the ministry. But where the real work takes place and the real value is seen are in those times of Bible study and making God's word real in the lives of men like these.....
Here is just a snapshot of what this ministry is really all about......
Mathew 9:37 says the harvest is plentiful...... and we agree. There are so many who need restoration through Christ and if they can be reached with Him, the great harvest would be realized!

Praise the Lord!
The man in the middle is Jordan Sanderson. If you recall, he was our first graduate from the ARK.
Here stands a once broken addict who surrendered his life to Christ and who has seen miracles come to pass in his marriage, his relationship with his girls, and who now enjoys the fruit of a great job!
Here stands evidence that those who suffer from addiction can be set free and can be fully restored to a better life IF they first surrender to Christ who created them for better things in His plan......
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Christ Family Outreach Church again blessed us financially tonight at their Ground Zero Men's meeting. (100+men tonight! Praise the Lord!) Beyond that, the men often come down to teach or stay and give our house manager a break, donate food and clothing, help with projects at the house, and allow the men to join in their Life Recovery meetings when up there. It's a trip to get there but you never hear the first complaint! The spiritual food is better than the physical food.....
Thank you Pastor Lee Day and the entire congregation for your love and support...........and especially all the men who reach out and encourage the guys to stay the course!

And the winner is?

ARK Ministries!!

Yep....we won the Mount Bethel Church chilli cook-off held over in Kenbridge yesterday. What a great day of fellowship and fun!
Our house manager reconnected with some old work buddies who share a heart for those in recovery and who extended an invite. We were able to share our ministry with several folks from both their church and the local community.

As a bonus, our chilli, which was prepared and donated by brother Murphy, from Vibrant Church in South Hill, won us the first place trophy!

I believe the real blessings are yet to come from this event. There was a lot of interest to get involved by several people so we are excited to see God move!

Had a great day with the guys from Life Recovery from Christ Family Outreach Church in Amelia. It was some awesome fundraiser goin' on!! Who doesn't like slow cooked pork butts? You can almost smell them in the pictures....

And yes, the ARK guys got their share too......lol!

WHAT A BLESSING WE RECEIVED TODAY!
Went to get in the van to go do some community work and found the van had a flat! Seeing we didn't have repair materials, we decided to google the nearest repair shop and see if we could get it fixed.

We pulled in and asked and Ronnie immediately dropped what he was doing and got the tire off, repaired, and replaced just that fast! And if that wasn't enough, he blessed us with the gift of it being all free to the ministry! Cannot say THANK YOU enough. Really changed the whole day!! I pray God blessed your day as well!
