Challenge Mountain Enrich lives and empower people living with disabilities through adaptive recreation.

Established in 1984 as a non-profit organization, Challenge Mountain was the first independent adaptive skiing program in northern Michigan. Today, Challenge Mountain offers adaptive recreational and social opportunities that continue to enrich lives and empower individuals living with disabilities. Each year, Challenge Mountain connects children, youth and adults living with disabilities through

adaptive skiing, equine therapy, ropes challenge course, adaptive biking, sailing and SPIRIT Day Camp. Individuals of all ages and abilities can take part in Challenge Mountain’s programs at no cost, including those living with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities.

The many faces and smiles of SPIRIT Day Camp 😁

This year, we provided over 70 participants with 12 days of fun and adventure in northern Michigan. From swimming to golf, farms and beaches, this summer had it all. SPIRIT camp is only made possible by the dedicated counselors, volunteers and donors who support this program and Challenge Mountain. THANK YOU!
