Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Some of the heaviest battles are fought in silence. Today, we're breaking that silence.

Su***de is preventable. Connection saves lives. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is simply ask someone, "How are you, really?" — and mean it.

If you're carrying pain right now: you matter, and help is real. You don't have to face this alone.
If you've lost someone: your grief is valid, and we hold space for you today.
If you're unsure what to say to someone struggling: showing up is enough. You don't need the perfect words.

💛 Reach out. Check in. Stay.

September is Recovery Month

Recovery isn't a straight line — it's messy, brave, and different for everyone. Whether it's day 1 or year 20, every step forward deserves to be seen.

This month, we're celebrating the millions of people living in recovery, the families who never gave up hope, and the communities that make healing possible.

If you're struggling: you are not alone, and reaching out is not weakness — it's strength.
If you're in recovery: we see you, and we're proud of you.
If you're supporting someone: thank you. It matters more than you know.

💚 Recovery is possible. Recovery is for everyone. Recovery happens here.

Happy Labor Day

Today we honor the workers, organizers, and everyday people whose hard work builds the world around us — the ones who show up, put in the hours, and rarely ask for recognition.

At Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition, we're especially grateful to the volunteers, staff, and community partners who dedicate their time and labor to a mission bigger than themselves. This work doesn't happen without you.

To everyone who's ever clocked in, shown up, and given their best — today is for you. Rest well. You've earned it.

💪 Here's to the workers who move us forward.
