August marked World Cancer Awareness Month—a vital reminder that cancer does not recognize borders, passports, or nationalities. Because cancer is a universal challenge, the Maharaj Institute is dedicated to serving patients from around the globe.

In this month’s feature, we share the story of an international patient from Kuwait who arrived at our clinic facing advanced liver cancer—a notoriously complex diagnosis. With personalised treatments unavailable to her in her home country, we helped her reclaim her health and quality of life. Seven years later she has remained cancer free without any recurrence of cancer.
