đ Even therapists need to refill their cup. đ
From July 16â19, Iâll be taking a short break and heading to Las Vegas to see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere (cue the nostalgia đś).
As therapists, we often talk about the importance of rest, joy, and making time for the things that help us reconnect with ourselves. The truth isâŚwe have to practice what we preach.
Taking intentional breaks isnât about avoiding responsibilitiesâitâs about returning with more energy, presence, and compassion for the people who count on us.
Whether your version of self-care is traveling, spending time with loved ones, reading a good book, hiking, or simply allowing yourself a quiet afternoon, know that rest is productive, too.
⨠During this time, Iâll have limited access to email and messages and will respond as soon as Iâm back in the office on July 20.
Thank you for your understanding while I take a little time to recharge. I canât wait to come back refreshed and ready to continue supporting you.
