Tara Westover, the Idaho native whose powerful memoir about the transformative power of education has topped bestseller lists for a year, will speak at MSU’s 2019 Convocation on Aug. 22. The event is free and open to the public.

Held at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, the annual American Indian Council Powwow at MSU is one of the largest powwows in Montana. This year’s powwow will be dedicated to missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
