Peptides sound complicated. Here’s the 30-second version.
Think of peptides as small chains of amino acids that can act as messengers in the body. Depending on the specific peptide, they may interact with different biological pathways involved in things like appetite, metabolism, recovery, tissue signaling, or other physiological processes.
Not all peptides are the same.
There isn’t one universal “peptide” that does everything. Different peptides have different structures, targets, purposes, evidence, potential benefits, and safety considerations. That’s why we don’t believe in the “my friend takes this, so I should too” approach.
At J & J Aesthetics & Wellness, our approach is about looking at the whole person—not just the latest wellness trend—and determining whether a particular therapy is appropriate for your individual goals and health needs.
Peptides aren’t magic. They’re tools—and the right tool depends on the person.
Save this for the next time someone starts talking about peptides and you have NO idea what they’re talking about. And tell us below: What peptide topic should we break down next? 👇
