🎉 Congratulations to Kianna, our Employee of the Month at Suncoast Behavioral Health Center! 🎉

Kianna is a Recreation Therapist on our clinical team, and her passion truly shines through in everything she does. She is an incredible team player who treats every patient with compassion, respect, and professionalism.

Known for thinking outside the box, Kianna continuously finds creative and engaging ways to connect with our patients. With support from her fellow team members, she even organized a Field Day for our patients and it was a huge hit!

We are so grateful for all that Kianna does each and every day. Thank you for making such a meaningful impact on our patients and our team! 💙

🤝 South Florida Team Collaboration

We had a wonderful and collaborative planning meeting with our colleagues who support communities across South Florida!

Together, we’re working on developing an upcoming CE event for local providers, focused on two essential topics:

✨ Navigating levels of care for youth within the behavioral health system
✨ Effectively engaging and supporting families with a child or teen in treatment

Grateful for the shared passion, expertise, and commitment to strengthening care for youth and families in our community.

She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and proudly earned her Doctorate in Education in December 2025—a testament to her dedication to advancing alternative education and empowering every learner who walks through our doors.

🌟 National Compliment Day Spotlight: Dr. Lluberes! 🌟

We’re thrilled to celebrate someone whose dedication shines through every single day — Dr. Cesar Lluberes, our Medical Director. 💙

One of the things we admire most about Dr. Lluberes is the genuine passion behind his work. In our recent conversations, he shared how meaningful it is to have the time and space to connect with patients in our all‑residential setting. That ability to be present, to truly listen, and to support each child with care and intention reminds him of his original “why” in pursuing child psychiatry — and it reminds us how lucky we are to have him leading our team.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting our KidLink Treatment Services partners at Suncoast BHC and Palm Shores BHC in Bradenton, Florida. This collaboration opens up valuable opportunities to showcase the services offered at our treatment sites and to connect with families and children—both nationally and internationally—who may benefit from residential behavioral health care.

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Senator Darryl Rouson to Suncoast Behavioral Health Center.
During his visit, he offered words of encouragement and took time to learn about the mental health needs of adolescents across Florida. Senator Rouson shared that his purpose in visiting was to gather insights he could bring back to Tallahassee to help drive meaningful change.

His presence was both inspiring and impactful. With compassion and a clear commitment to action, Senator Rouson reaffirmed his dedication to improving the lives of Florida’s youth.
