The City of Brady is responding to a major water main break on Nine Road near the hospital, affecting a large number of residents.

Crews are on site and working as quickly and safely as possible. Due to the extent of the damage, there is no definitive estimate yet for restoration of services.

It was an honor to welcome representatives from Texas A&M University School of Medicine and the Rural Health Initiative to Heart of Texas Healthcare System last week.❤️‍🩹

During their visit, Dr. Kathleen Forbes, Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs for the Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine; Cady Auckerman, Chief of Staff, for the College of Medicine; and Curtis Donaldson, executive director for TAMU Rural Medicine, toured our new Center for Education and Opportunities (CEO) building. The group also visited the student housing rooms made possible through generous donations honoring the lives and memories of former Aggies.👍🏼

We are grateful for this meaningful partnership and for the shared commitment to preparing future healthcare professionals while strengthening rural healthcare in our community.
