Please join us in congratulating Sarah Svoboda on her promotion to Lead Supervising Professional for Grattan Health Care Inc.

Sarah has been a valued member of our office support team since April 2018 and has steadily grown within our organization. Since 2022, she has also taken on part-time responsibilities as a Qualified Professional for our PCA/CFSS clients, demonstrating dedication, skill, and a strong commitment to the individuals we serve.

We are excited to share that Sarah has now stepped into a Supervising Professional role, where she will lead CFSS, Homemaker, and 245D Services case management and supervision. This milestone reflects not only her hard work and dedication, but also her continued growth in leadership.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her plants, blacksmithing, and archery — a combination that perfectly reflects her patience, creativity, focus, and strength.

We are incredibly proud of Sarah and look forward to the continued impact she will make in this new role.

In June, two of our Private Duty Nursing participated in the 2nd Annual Emmy Sue's Ring of Dreams Adaptive Livestock Show at the Morrison County Fair!

Next up, we have Kaylor!

Kaylor proudly showed her goat with the support of her Mom (and Nurse), her brothers, and her whole Grattan Private Duty Nursing team by her side. Events like this highlight what can happen when communities come together to create opportunities where everyone belongs.

The Ring of Dreams Adaptive Livestock Show is designed to give individuals with disabilities a safe and encouraging place to show their livestock. From volunteers who adapt the ring for wheelchairs and walkers to the judge who donates their time, it's a wonderful reminder of the power of inclusion.

Congratulations, Kaylor! Your determination and smile made the day even more special. We're honored to be part of your journey.

A warm (and slightly overdue… oops!) welcome to Alyssa Svoboda!

Alyssa joined our team in August 2025 as a Client Relations & Human Resources Specialist, and she’s helping us to keep things running smoothly ever since—for both our office team, field staff and the amazing individuals we serve.

Between gaining a fantastic new team member and tackling the excitement of buying, renovating, and moving into our new office, our welcome post got a little delayed—but Alyssa’s impact definitely didn’t!

When she’s not supporting our team, she’s a proud cat mom (so you know she’s got both patience and personality).

In June, two of our Private Duty Nursing clients participated in the 2nd Annual Emmy Sue's Ring of Dreams Adaptive Livestock Show at the Morrison County Fair!

Up first, a big congratulations to Emory on an incredible day at the fair!

The purpose of the show is to allow anyone with disabilities to have a safe place to show their livestock. It’s amazing to see all the volunteers and how quickly they can adapt the show ring to accommodate for wheelchair and walkers. The judge comes from a couple hours away for free to help judge the kids and their livestock.

Emory proudly showed both a sheep and a goat, and her creatively decorated hay bale earned 1st Place! We couldn't be prouder of her hard work, confidence, and accomplishments.

Way to go, Emory! Your Grattan PDN family is cheering you on every step of the way.
