An inspiring night at the Shooting Touch Gala in Boston ✨

Honored to support an organization that empowers women locally in Boston and globally in Rwanda. They have also expanded their offering to include essential medical care. This is what global health and community impact should look like.

Congratulations to Grant Williams for receiving this year’s award for his incredible contributions on and off the court 👏

Wore my Sneex heels all night—proof that you can have stylish heels and prioritize foot health (yes, it’s possible 👣).

As a podiatrist, I’m especially excited about the organization’s growth into medical outreach in Rwanda—and hopeful that I can help with foot and ankle care to be part of this mission in the future!

Standing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon is always an incredible moment… but this year felt different.

As a foot & ankle surgeon, I also saw the other side of this race season—the runners who never made it here.

I had to pull too many athletes out of training due to stress fractures. And one pattern kept showing up: low vitamin D levels.

Vitamin D3 plays a critical role in bone strength, recovery, and injury prevention—yet it’s one of the most overlooked factors in runners.

If you’re training for a race, don’t wait until pain forces you to stop.
✔️ Check your levels
✔️ Fuel your bones
✔️ Protect your training

Because getting to the start line is one thing…
Making it to the finish line is everything. 🏁

Bunions don’t get talked about enough… and that needs to change.

In honor of National Bunion Day, let’s say it out loud:
👉 Bunions happen. And you are not alone.

Up to 1 in 3 women develop bunions—yet so many feel embarrassed, hide their feet, or avoid the shoes they love.

That’s why I love what Jennifer Bailey and CALLA are doing—creating a movement that helps women feel seen, confident, and supported instead of ashamed.

It’s time to normalize talking about bunions—just like we talk about back pain.

✨ No shame
✨ No hiding
✨ Just real feet—and better choices for them

If you’ve ever felt self-conscious about your bunions, this is your reminder: you’re in very good company.

💬 Tell me—have bunions ever changed the shoes you wear?

Spring sandal season is (ALMOST) here ☀️ and you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style. I teamed up with People Magazine to highlight some of the most comfortable sandals under $50—because your feet deserve support without the splurge.

My top picks? Supportive, cushioned, and actually cute:
✔️ Dr. Scholl’s Islander
✔️ Cushionaire Lizzy Braided

Both offer better shock absorption and everyday wearability than your typical flat sandal—meaning happier feet all season long 👣

If you’re dealing with foot pain, fatigue, or just want to prevent it, choosing the right sandal makes all the difference.

Save this for your next shoe haul 🛍️

boots don’t have to mean sacrificing foot health for warmth or style.

I was glad to contribute expert insight to this People feature highlighting comfortable winter boots under $100. The right pair should support your feet, provide stability, and still work for real life—because what you wear every day matters more than you think.

Warm, supported, and walking well all season long. 👢❄️

I’m trading the clinic for the stairwell today. 🏥➡️🧗‍♂️
Every day, I help people stay mobile. But for millions of Americans, the biggest obstacle isn’t their feet—it’s every single breath they take.
I’m participating in the Fight for Air Climb to benefit the American Lung Association. I’ll be climbing 789 stairs to raise money for research, advocacy, and a cure for lung disease.
It’s going to burn. My legs will be tired, and my lungs will be screaming. But that’s the point. I’m breathing hard so others can breathe easier.
How you can help:
1. Donate: Hit the link in my bio to contribute to my “Fight for Air” fund. Every dollar counts!
2. Share: Send this reel to someone who needs a little Monday motivation.
3. Cheer: Drop a “🔥” in the comments to keep me moving up those stairs!
Let’s get to the top. Together. 🫁✨

Surgical prep… beach edition.

02/26/2026

Beach, pool, and gym days have one thing in common:

Your feet are exposed.

Public pools.
Sand.
Locker rooms.
Showers.

That’s where feet are at risk and plantar wart viruses can spread.

As a foot and ankle surgeon, I always wear flip-flops in communal wet areas — but not the flat, flimsy kind.

Most flip-flops force your toes to grip and provide zero arch support, which can aggravate plantar fasciitis and Achilles strain.

For beach trips and gym showers, I wear Archie’s because they actually have built-in arch support and a secure strap that doesn’t make your toes overwork.

It’s not just about style.
It’s about protecting your skin barrier and your biomechanics.

Healthy feet start with smart choices.
