New Birth Experiences

The time of pregnancy, birth and postpartum marks a journey in a woman's life that forever changes her. Choosing the right place of birth and the caregiver that best suits her can only enhance her birth experience. My midwifery practice is based on the knowledge that birth is a sacred and natural process and should be celebrated by supporting women with home birth services in a caring, loving and

safe environment. I believe the relationship a woman and her family has with her midwife is one of trust and love and that, will carry her through her journey of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. Pregnancy and childbirth are not a medical event and should not be treated as such. We work together to create a safe, educated and empowering experience for her birth experience. One of the popular home birth experiences is a water birth. This method promotes a more relaxed, comforting and less painful experience. As they have become more popular, I have gained more knowledge in this area and can assist with education and in some cases, providing necessary equipment.
