Mrs. Kimberly Ann Allen, age 65, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Kim was born on August 9, 1960, the daughter of Kenneth Andrew, Sr. and Ruby (Kendall) Miller.

Kim loved the outdoors. She had a green thumb and liked to work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also liked to collect rocks and listen to classic rock music.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby; her husband, Douglas Edward Allen, Sr., her brother, Richard Miller; her sister, Stella Donahue; and her step mother, Neva Miller. She is survived by her father, Kenneth Andrew Miller, Sr.; three children, Junior Allen, Ruby Allen, and Julie Beck; her bonus daughter, Christal McCubbins; 11 grandchildren, Kaitlynn “Katie Jack”, Trey, and Robbie Allen, Miranda and Payton Miller, Mikey, Nikki, Haley, and Anthony (Taylor) Brothers, Shaune Ross, and Kaison Thomas; six great grandchildren, Ryan Ray, Nevaeh and River Miller, Ezekiel Guess, and Eren and Owen Brothers; her siblings, Kenny “Nin” (Darlene) Miller, Melinda (Rob) Hubbard, Dale Eldridge, Nellie Zerbe, Ruby (Rick) Allen, Susie (Wayne) Kessinger, Troy (Kathy) Carver, and Billy (Stacy) Trent; her companion, Danny Hayes; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Kim’s sister, Ruby officiating. Burial will follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Mr. Bernabe E. Falero, age 92, of Payneville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. Mr. Falero was born on December 31, 1933, the son of Bernabe Falero and Guillermina Viera.

Mr. Falero was a parishioner of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. He was a man of steadfast faith with an adventurous soul even navigating the skies as an aviator in his youth.

Mr. Falero was preceded in death by his parents, and 9 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Falero; two children, Sara Falero Kok and her husband, Troy, and Xavier Falero and his wife, Julie Marie; five grandchildren, Ross (Brianna), Ryan (Alissa), Kaci (Alex), Valentina, and Logan; three great grandchildren, Hugh, Everette, and Gabriella; two sisters, Gladys Falero and her husband, Carlos, and Gloria Falero; and 7 nieces and nephews, Angela Marie, Liberto, Manolo, Alberto, Antonio, Carmen, and Jose Manuel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, with Father George Illakkal officiating. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, and at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of mass on Monday. Barbara Ann Devereaux, age 88, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on January 23, 1938, the daughter of William Sanford and Ruby Marie (Churchman) Curry.
Barbara, a woman who truly never met a stranger. She was the definition of “the life of the party,” known for her infectious laughter, her quick wit, and her ability to make everyone in the room feel like the most important person there. She possessed a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or share a warm meal. To know her was to be loved by her, and her home was a sanctuary where everyone was welcomed with open arms and a generous spirit. She was a proud Kentucky Colonel and also served as past President of the Oakdale Neighborhood Association in Louisville where she became involved with the Jefferson County Police Department in helping solve neighborhood issues. Her greatest joy in life were her two sons and grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy and unconditional love that will continue to shine through everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Stephen Dingus; and two brothers, Billy and Lee Curry. She is survived by her son, Robert (Robin) Dingus, two granddaughters, Kimberly (James) Dennison, Ashley (Brandon) Blackburn; two step grandchildren, Jessica (Kelly) Roberts, D.W. (Kimberly) Brown; seven great grandchildren, Brayden, Emma, Sophie, and Logan Dennison, and Addisyn, Mason, and Grace Blackburn; three step great grandchildren, Landon and Lucas Roberts, and Josh Brown; her sister-in-law, Barbara Curry; her best friend, Johnny Burgraff; and her fur baby, Dolly.

Mr. John Edward Preston, age 58, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at his residence. John was a truck driver for over 35 years. Trucking was John’s passion, logging many miles across the country. Above his love for the road, John cherished his family, especially being a Grandpa to his grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife, Becca Preston; four children, Shelby Splunge (Antonio), James Preston (Natalie), Meredith Hart and Melissa Gray; 12 grandchildren, Hadley Splunge, Rhiannon Splunge, Joshua Preston, Akima Morton, Anika Morton, Michael Curtsinger, William Gray, Bella Morton, Myrick Gray, Malia Gray, Daiden Gray and Marissa Gray; his mother, Kathryn Farmer; his step-dad, Kenneth Farmer (Brenda); and his best friend, who was more like a brother, Claude Seadler.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shawn Craig Clevenger. Shawn was born in Louisville, KY, on August 18, 1973, and passed away at home on May 27, 2026. Shawn was 52 years old.
Shawn is survived by his mother, Judy (David) Rogers; two sisters, Tina (Mike) Wilson and Crystal (Anthony) Leach; four aunts, Mary Harshfield, Glenda Daugherty, Jean Sanders and Geraldine Hodge; his uncle, Bruce Hollis; his companion, Robin Johnson; two nephews, Will Leach and Chris Caldwell; and three nieces, Madi Leach, Brittany Caldwell and Asia Caldwell. He is preceded in death by many other family members, including his grandmother, Ruth Hollis; his father, Butch Clevenger; and his sons, Zachary and Dallin Clevenger.
Shawn’s life was marked by both tremendous love and unimaginable loss. He endured hardships that few could comprehend including the heart breaking loss of both of his sons and a devastating car accident. Through every challenge, Shawn demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and determination.
Those who knew Shawn will remember his courage in the face of adversity and his ability to keep moving forward despite the burdens he carried. His journey was not always easy but perseverance was a testament to his character and inner strength.
May his memory live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Mrs. Lauran Canzaty Fredrickson, age 23, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Lauran was born on May 30, 2002, the daughter of David Kubik and Tina Henegar. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Lauran is survived by her husband, Jordan Alvin Fredrickson; her parents David Kubik and Tina Kubik; three brothers, Jacob (Abby) Kubik, Bradly (Ashley) Kubik, and David II (Elizabeth) Kubik; her sister, Kaitlyn (Charlie) Hale; her paternal grandmother, Sharlene Brown; and her maternal grandparents, Bennie and Marsha Henegar; and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Lou Ann McDaniel, age 67, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. Lou Ann was born on November 19, 1958, the daughter of Ernest Leon and Wilma Jean Pulliam Darland. Above all else, Lou Ann loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her family.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother; three children, Melissa Moors, C.J. (Kirsten) McDaniel, and Patricia (Randy) Durbin; his step son, Mike McDaniel; 13 grandchildren, Josh, Kayleah, Landyn, Jaylyn, Amaya, Ally, Payton, Patrick, Molly, Emily, Weston, Porter, and Chloe; three great grandchildren, Aleki, Kora, and Deliahla; and seven brothers and sisters, Gary Darland, Theresa Neff, Becky Lilly, Deana Sturgill, Kevin Darland, Marilyn Doan, and Penelope Kenny.

Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Reba Whitworth; and his former wife of 38 years, Saundra D. Whitworth. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen M. Whitworth; and his son, Sammy T. Whitworth of Virginia.

Mr. Robert Wayne Davis, age 62, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Norton Medical Pavilion Hosparus in-patient unit in Louisville. Robert was born on December 19, 1963, the son of Robert Earl and Marilyn (Woods) Davis.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country in Operation Desert Storm. He was also a member of the VFW, Post #10281 in Vine Grove.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Jaclyn Davis-Simpson and Amanda Smith; seven grandchildren, Kaleena, Jarrod, Nevaeh, Kayelynn, Johnny, Niklaus, and Ryker; his great granddaughter, Ravyn; his mother, Marilyn Davis; and four siblings, Sherri, Terry, Margaret, and Mary.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Mr. Bernard French “Mack” McKinney, Jr, age 83, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at his residence.

Mack loved his family deeply. He was husband to his wife of 63 years, Virginia Mae McKinney; son of, Nora Rebecca (Taylor) McKinney; father of, French (Michelle) McKinney, Jeff (Elaine) McKinney and Micah McKinney; papaw of, Jena (Kaitie) McKinney and Keith (Courtney) McKinney; great grandfather of, Reed Jeffrey McKinney; brother of, Kay (John) Anderson, Scottie Jo (Danny) Neice and Patty (Richard) Flinchum; brother-in-law of, Bill Mitchell and many much loved nieces and nephews.

Mack is preceded by his father, Bernard French McKinney, Sr.; sister, Rita Mitchell; and brother, Jay McKinney.
