Margaree McDonald was born to Nettie B. (Haygood) Fears and Ike Fears Sr. on August 3, 1939. She departed this life Saturday, October 3, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nettie Bee and Ike Fears St.; her husband Percy Lee McDonald; son Sammie Lee Tate; brother Ike Fears Jr; brother Willie James Fears; brother Roger Lee Fears; brother Clifton Fears and Calvin Eugene Fears.

Mother McDonald was a woman of deep faith who loved the Lord and cherished her church family. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Church of God in Christ for more than 30 years. Her love for God was evident in the way she lived her life. She enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time reflecting on God's Word.

Mother McDonald also had a special way of bringing joy to those around her. She loved putting her own unique twist on songs, making them her own and bringing smiles and laughter to those who knew her. She treasured spending time with her family and loved being surrounded by the people she cared about.

She also formed special friendships in the community room where she lived, where she enjoyed visiting, talking, laughing, and sharing time with friends. One of the relationships she especially treasured was with her sister, Rita. They could spend hours talking on the phone late into the night, sharing stories and enjoying each other's company.

Rodney Lee Wright affectionately known as Ralph was born March 14, 1954 to the late Evelyn Godfrey Wright and Benjamin Larry Wright in
West Virginia.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, whose love, kindness and unwavering devotion to his family touched
the lives of everyone who knew him.
He was a loving, caring and family - oriented man who always put the needs of his loved ones before his own. As a father, he was a source of strength, wisdom and unconditional love. He took great pride in providing for his family, celebrating their accomplishments, and offering comfort during difficult times. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren, and loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished for ever. He will be remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. His laughter, guidance, and compassion left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the legacy of love, faith, and the family that he leaves behind. Antoine Antonio Cox was born July 27, 1984, to the late Angela Adams in Wichita, Kansas. He was the second-born of five children. Antoine unexpectedly departed his earthly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 23, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Antoine was raised in Brandon, MS with Angela Adams, until her untimely passing in December of 1993. At that time Joe Lee Johnson stepped up to father Antoine and his siblings. Antoine attended Evergreen United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS where he accepted Christ at an early age and participated in church league basketball.

Antoine received his education in Rankin County School District, graduating from Brandon High School in May, 2002. He was a gifted scholar, while also being a member of the football, basketball and track teams, as well as many other clubs and organizations. After graduating from Brandon High School, he attended Mississippi State University, where he majored in Kinesiology. While at MSU, he joined an Intramural Basketball team known as "SlabRyders", Intramural Football team known as "Elite" and a Softball team known as "Tha Fam."

Antoine was a dedicated and hard-working man beginning his career at the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) where he traveled the state of MS for years. Arnetta Adams, affectionately loved by her family and friends, was born on October 25,1971, in Jackson, Mississippi, to the late Annie Lee Adams and George Earl Adams. A lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi, Arnetta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her.

Arnetta accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She later united with New Galilean Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi, where she continued to nurture her faith. Arnetta attended Murrah High School. She dedicated several years of service to Methodist Rehabilitation Center, where she worked and touched the lives of many through her work.

Arnetta found joy in the simple things that brought family and friends together. She loved fishing, cooking, playing bingo, and gathering loved ones at her home for cookouts. Her home was a place where family and friends could come together, share a meal, laugh, fellowship, and make memories. Above all, Arnetta cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought a special joy to her heart.

Arnetta was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Lee and George Earl Adams; her three beloved sons, Jamarlo Adams, Marquese Adams, and Rekedrick Adams, all of Jackson, Mississippi; and her beloved son in love, Vincent Walton of Brandon, Mississippi.

Kenneth St. John, 73, passed away in his home in Brandon, MS on October 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous fight with cancer.

Born in Vermont in July of 1953 to Stanley and Marjorie St. John, he continued to be a proud Vermonter his entire life even after relocating to California and Mississippi, introducing many new generations to Vermont maple syrup and cheese. He went on many camping trips with his parents, brother and sisters, always carrying with him at least one book to keep him occupied.

A lifelong student and scholar, Ken attended Rensslaer Polytechnic Institute for his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering, with further studies at Clemson University, and then obtained his PhD at Mississippi State University in 2001. After moving to Mississippi, he began a career at the University of Mississippi Medical Center that lasted until he retired in 2016.

Kenneth married Susan St John, the love of his life, on August 7, 1982. Ever by his side and enjoying many adventures together, they remained married until his death.

Kenneth was survived by his mother Marjorie St. John; his brother Wayne and wife Ginny; his sister Debbie and husband Steve; his wife Susan St. John; his children Matthew and Jessica St. John; his grandchildren Myles, Kyler and Mila. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bobbie Jenkins was born on February 18, 1950 to Mr. James and Mrs. Ora Mae Johnson in Walnut Grove, MS. She was the third child of nine children. Bobbie graduated from South Leake High School. She soon moved to Jackson, MS with her eldest brother Henry. This is where she met her Husband, Robert Jenkins. He invited her down to his apartment to listen to his vinyl record collection anytime she wanted to. Soon love sparked and they were married on March 18, 1974. Through this union, 5 children were born, Derek, James, Latonya, Cedric, and Terrell. She was a devoted wife and mother. Bobbie worked various jobs, starting out at a daycare, the local chicken factory, and she retired from MS State Hospital after working 20 years.

Bobbie was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Jenkins, son Terrell Jenkins, and two grandchildren. Also preceded her in death was her parents, three sister, Catherine Adkins, Hazel McBeth, Arlene Staten, two brothers, Charlie Johnson, and Darthel Johnson.

Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories, four children, Robert D. Johnson of Jackson, MS, Erico James (Kim) Johnson of Jackson, MS, Latonya (Tyrone) McLin of Florence, MS, and Cedric (Lakeesha) Jenkins of Brandon, MS, two brothers Henry Johnson of Milwaukee, WI, and Renell Johnson of Walnut Grove, MS, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, relatives, in-laws and friends.

Tameka "Pookie" Keys-Thompson was born on September 24, 1980, in Jackson, Mississippi, to the late Beatrice Keys and Mr. Henry Louis Arrington. She was raised in Jackson, Mississippi, where she attended Wingfield High School.

Tameka was a dedicated and hardworking woman who devoted 13 years of service to ServiceMaster, where she worked as a supervisor. She was known for her strong work ethic, caring spirit, and the love she freely shared with those around her. She was blessed with a special friendship with her best friend, Ella Mae King, who held a cherished place in her heart.

Tameka was united in marriage to Randall F. Thompson. She treasured her family and enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. Among her favorite pastimes were playing cards, participating in family activities, and simply being surrounded by the people she loved. She found great joy in creating memories with her family and friends.

Tameka leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her seven children: Demetrius, Randall, Kendall, Darius, Zikeyah, Jermel, and Tamekah; and her three grandchildren: Kehlani, Riley, and Khamari.

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the Lord called Mary Louise Brown from her earthly home to her final resting place. Mary Louise Brown was born on January 29, 1957, to the late Ben and Helen Brown. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin Brown and Ural Brown, as well as her sisters, Denise Brown and Shirley Brown.

Accepting Christ at a very early age, Mary was baptized at Sandhill M.B. Church. She was widely known for her wonderful cooking, her generous spirit in feeding anyone who came by, and her open heart in offering a place to stay to anyone in need. She would often remind those around her, "In my house, I may not have much, but you are always welcome!"

Truly the life of the party, Mary could always be found out on the dance floor wherever music was playing, and she was equally known as a passionate, diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Mary leaves to cherish and honor her memory:
