Beginning this school year, Florida now requires students entering high school who plan to participate in school sports to have an ECG (electrocardiogram) as part of their athletic clearance.

We are pleased to announce that we now offer ECG/EKG (Electrocardiogram) testing in-house!

An EKG is a quick, non-invasive test that helps evaluate your heart's rhythm and electrical activity. By offering this service right here in our office, we can provide faster, more convenient care for our patients without the need for an outside referral in many cases.

Just a reminder, starting in the 2026-2027 school year, students participating in the Florida High School Athletic Assocation athletics for the first time must have a cleared electrocardiogram before they can participate.
