The festivities continued “around the world” as we set sail on the Oakfield Cruise with Captain Sharla Narcisse! From Cinco de Mayo attire and National Firefighter Day to Jamaica Day and Philippine Day, our team brought the energy, creativity, and joy all week long.

As we celebrate National Nurses Week and this year’s theme, The Power of Nurses, we are proud to spotlight our very own Chief Nursing Officer, Deb Mack, whose leadership, compassion, and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact across Aviata Health Group.

Throughout the week, we will be sharing Deb’s responses to three important questions surrounding her journey in nursing, the inspiration behind her career, and the advice she would offer to future nurses.

We begin with the question:
“What inspired you to choose nursing as your career?”
