Here's how you recognize them:

• They celebrate your wins. With genuine joy. Your success is their happiness.

• They remember small things. The book you mentioned. Details that say: I see you.

• They respect your boundaries. Your "no" is enough. Your limits are sacred.

• You feel energized after seeing them. Not exhausted. Not depleted. You leave fuller than you arrived.

• They listen without defending. They hear your hurt without making it about them.

• They allow you to be fully yourself. Your joys. Your sorrows. All of you belong.

• They make you feel safe. Not just physically. Emotionally. Spiritually.

• You don't have to edit yourself. No watching what you say. No calculating responses.

• They support your goals. Even when it means less of them. Your dreams matter.

We normalize this over time, calling it normal. It's not.

The right people feel like home.
