Anger gets a bad rap, but it’s communicating that something inside you needs care. Instead of pushing it down, let’s get curious. What’s beneath that fire? Rage? Hurt? Frustration?

Give yourself permission to feel it all—and release it in a way that feels safe.

Loneliness can sneak up on any of us, even in a crowded room.

But here’s a gentle reminder: feeling disconnected doesn’t mean you’re unworthy of connection. Sometimes, it’s a sign to reach out, even when it’s hard. Take a moment today to check in with yourself and maybe reach out to someone who gets and sees you.

Give yourself the space to seek connection this week.

Let’s talk about jealousy, sis. It’s a tough one, but real. Seeing someone else win can sometimes make us feel like we’re falling behind—but here’s a reminder: their success doesn’t take away from yours.
▪️
Jealousy happens to all of us. It’s not a flaw—it’s just a nudge toward to explore our desires.
▪️
So don’t hide from it. Don’t be scared… pay attention to it. Ask yourself:
▪️
• What’s this feeling really about?
• Am I holding back from something I want?
• How can I use this as fuel for my own goals?

Shame can feel like a heavy, invisible weight—one we often carry alone. But here’s the truth, sis: you are not your mistakes. You deserve the same grace you give others, and that starts with a little self-compassion and self-love.🤎

Shame’s job is to shrink us, to make us question our worth. But our job? To rise above it, to forgive ourselves, and to remember that we’re all human. Today, I invite you to release a bit of that weight. Speak kindly to yourself, because you deserve to feel whole, even in moments of imperfection. 🤎

What’s one gentle reminder you’re giving yourself today?

Hey, beautiful souls!

You may have heard of the “Sunday scaries,” that sinking feeling that creeps in as the weekend winds down, leaving you anxious about the week ahead. But let’s take a deeper look—what if those scaries extend beyond just Sundays? What if they represent a larger spectrum of hard emotions we often push aside?

In our busy lives, we tend to avoid confronting emotions that feel uncomfortable or scary. We smile through the sadness, laugh off our insecurities, and dismiss our feelings of jealousy or discouragement as “just a phase.” But here’s the truth: every feeling, no matter how daunting, carries a message that deserves our attention. Ignoring these emotions can create a bottleneck, leading to more intense feelings down the road.

Throughout this series, “The Scaries,” we’ll explore emotions like grief, anxiety, guilt, and insecurity—those heavyweights we often avoid. Together, we’ll unpack their origins, understand their impact, and learn restorative practices that can help us process them in healthier ways.

Remember, it’s okay to feel scared or uncertain. These feelings are part of being human. Acknowledging them doesn’t mean you’re weak; it means you’re brave enough to face the truth of your experiences. So grab a cup of tea, get comfy, and let’s navigate these scaries together—one post at a time.

You’re not alone in this. Let’s dive in!
