California Dreamin’! ☀️🌊

This month, for our “Road Trip”, our residents hit the road for a trip to the beautiful state of California! 🚗🌴 We enjoyed a scenic ride through the Golden State, taking in its beautiful sights and learning a little more about what makes California so special.

Of course, no road trip would be complete without sampling some delicious foods! 🍽️ We enjoyed some of the popular flavors California is known for while sharing lots of smiles, laughter, and fellowship along the way.

From the beautiful scenery to the tasty treats, our California adventure was a wonderful way to explore a new destination without ever leaving home! ❤️

🎨🐱 We enjoyed a fun bus trip to Fat Cat Art Cafe! We were greeted by two resident cats and had a wonderful time choosing our own ceramics and adding our personal touch with a little paint and creativity! 🖌️🎨

After our creations were glazed, we’re excited to share our finished masterpieces! 🖼️✨ Each one is unique and reflects the artistic side of its creator!

It was a wonderful outing filled with creativity, fellowship, furry friends, and lots of fun! ❤️🐾

💜 Together, We Made a Difference!

Our First Annual Memory Walk brought our community together for a cause close to our hearts. We walked for hope, for awareness, and for a cure! 💜 All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association, helping support their important mission. Thank you, to Kendall Boulton, our local Alzheimer’s Association representative, who was so gracious with her support to our community.

We had some happy winners, Leon Lewis, Shirley Dyess, Pat Kent, Lisa Hooper and Arreca Washington, taking home fabulous raffle prizes donated by Sugar Magnolia Takery, Legacy Hospice, Southern Medical Consultants, LLC, Visiting Angels-Jackson MS and Heart of Hospice. The hamburger plates were a hit, as well! 🍔🎉

A HUGE thank-you to our amazing staff, volunteers, and everyone who came out to lend a helping hand and support this special day. Your time, generosity, and support mean so much to us.

Thank you, also, to DJ Fresh, for joining us with some great music. 🎶

What a wonderful day filled with community, fellowship, and a shared purpose. Together, we’re making a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s! 💜

🍬🎃 It’s That Time of Year Again!

We’re kicking off our candy collection for our annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Even! 👻

Our residents are always so excited to hand out candy and see all the little ghosts and goblins who come to visit. It’s one of their favorite times of the year! ❤️

We’re asking for candy donations to help make this special day a sweet success. If you’d like to donate, we would be so grateful! 🍭

Let’s fill our candy baskets and make some wonderful Halloween memories with our residents! 🎃🧡
