A perfect way to celebrate summer! Happy Fourth of July from all of us at County Ob/Gyn!

Today, our team enjoyed our annual Fourth of July lunch, a fun tradition that gives us the opportunity to celebrate and spend time together.

Please note that all County Ob/Gyn offices will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, July 3rd, in observance of the Fourth of July. We will reopen during our normal business hours on Monday. As always, we have 24 hour / 7 day a week on call coverage for emergencies.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and memorable holiday weekend as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with family, friends, and community!

Congratulations to Dr. Sauer on this well-deserved recognition!

He was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation after being recognized multiple times by patients in Press Ganey surveys, a nationally recognized patient satisfaction survey that measures patients experiences with their healthcare providers, from January through March 2026 for the exceptional care and compassion he provides to patients and their families.

Congratulations and good luck to Ava as she begins her first sonography position at Yale New Haven Hospital!

After earning her undergraduate degree from UConn, Ava joined us as a chaperone, which inspired her to return to school and earn her degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Ava, thank you for all of your help and we will miss you on the County OB team. We’re so excited to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish in your new career!

Congratulations to Dr. Scott Casper on being inducted into the Section 1 Wrestling Hall of Fame in New York! He attended the annual induction ceremony in Harrison, New York, celebrating the achievements and excellence of this year's inductees.

Dr. Casper was inducted for his outstanding high school wrestling career, during which he compiled an impressive 96-11 record, won two Section 1 championships, and finished second overall in New York State in the 126-pound weight class.

His success continued at UConn, where he became a New England Wrestling Champion and finished third in the league of the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association. Dr. Casper also coached at the University of Kentucky during graduate school, helping mentor a team that produced five All-Americans.

An incredible honor recognizing a lifetime of dedication and achievement in wrestling. Congratulations, Dr. Casper!

County Ob/Gyn will have SUMMER HOURS beginning May 22nd through Labor Day weekend.

We will remain open until 5:00 pm on Thursdays and close at 1:00 pm on Fridays throughout the summer.

Please remember to request a refill of your prescription before noon on Fridays to avoid any missed doses.

We will be CLOSED on Monday May 25th for Memorial Day.

As always, we will continue to provide 24/7 on-call coverage for emergencies.

This past weekend, our providers had an incredible experience attending the annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Washington, D.C.

It was a valuable opportunity to stay at the forefront of women’s healthcare, connect with colleagues from across the country, and bring back the latest insights to better serve our patients.

Our team was especially honored to spend time supporting their colleague, Steven Fleischman, MD, of New Haven, CT, the outgoing president of ACOG. They also enjoyed connecting with esteemed leaders and friends in the field, including Dr. Hugh Taylor, Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Yale University School of Medicine, and Dr. Mitchell Clark, Gynecologic Oncologist at Yale University School of Medicine.

We are proud to continue learning, growing, and delivering the highest quality care to women in our community.
