Join us at the Brookes Memorial Library in downtown Brattleboro for the opening reception on Monday, May 6th at 11:00 a.m.

"The Wisdom In Our Community Art Show documents stories from the lives of seniors who live at Garden Path Elder Living/ Bradley House, in Brattleboro, VT.
Writing prompts were completed as stories from a resident’s past and then residents made watercolor “splash” paintings on which the stories were printed. Creative Aging Teaching Artist, Susan Rosano of Guilford, VT, along with assistance from Deborah Noe of Putney, VT, provided arts instruction and memory prompts to residents at Garden Path Elder Living / Bradley House for these lovely pieces of art. This project is supported by a grant from the Vermont Arts Council's Creative Aging Grant Program. Creative Aging grants support skill-based instruction alongside opportunities for social engagement and community building in and through the arts for older adults."

The exhibit be at the library through the end of May, and will then return to the Bradley House.
