We’ve been out and about visiting with local EMS services this week and last. Handing out our AE39 “hydration kits.” They included water, liquid IV and propel packets, Italian ice pops to freeze, polar ice gum, wint-o-green mints and a reusable cooling towel! Here’s just a few pictures we were able to capture. If we visited you and we didn’t get your pictures please add them here!! We also did our Heat Emergencies CE lecture for Greene CO EMS. Thank you for having us out! Don’t forget you can have us come and do CE lectures for your organizations!

Thank you to Union Regional hospital for having AE39 and IU Health Lifeline out of Terre Haute for LZ training for your staff! We rotated between groups and they got to learn about the different aircraft and what we needed from them. Teamwork makes the dream work! We might have different uniforms but we are all here for the same mission. We are thankful to work along side all agencies to provide Critical Care access to all the people we serve in Indiana and Illinois!

We are sad to say that Paul has officially retired. We will miss him immensely at AE 39! His nightcap will forever hang at the base.

2nd Quarter flight crew grand rounds in Evansville. The crews today worked on adult and pediatric trauma cases. And then finished up the day with some cardiac review. Every quarter the crews work with the educator and medical directors to continuously grow and improve clinically. Crews here represented not only AE 39 but AE 17, 28, 46 and 150 and with a few of our interns that are learning and growing with Air Evac in hopes of a flight career with us.

It’s a sad day today at AE 39! Our Pilot Paul is retiring and today is his last Flight shift. We wish him well in his retirement and hope he comes back to visit us often!

We extend our gratitude to Greene County EMS for inviting Air Evac to participate in their EMS Week celebration with a cookout. We were pleased to serve root beer floats to their employees, which were well-received. Thank you for your support of Air Evac 39! ❤️🚁🤍🚁💙
