Most people think a chiropractic adjustment is about putting bones back into place—but that’s not necessarily what is happening.
Your spine is made up of many small joints that work together. When one of those joints becomes stiff or restricted, an adjustment applies a specific, controlled force to help restore motion and improve function.
The goal may include:
✅ Improving spinal mobility
✅ Reducing recurring tension and stiffness
✅ Supporting better posture and movement
✅ Helping uncomfortable areas function more normally
Daily sitting, repetitive work, exercise, poor posture, and old injuries can all contribute to stiffness returning over time. That’s why some patients may benefit from periodic maintenance care.
But maintenance care is not one-size-fits-all. The right frequency should depend on your condition, lifestyle, symptoms, and goals.
Adjustments are not necessarily about putting bones back in place—they’re usually about helping joints move better.
