There are several articles on Mrs. Arnaud Robert’s live oak tree in Poche Bridge, La. It is registered as Louisiana’s second largest living live oak tree by the Live Oak Society of Louisiana. This tree was about 200 years old when it burned down in 1960.

The oak tree was once a landmark of the Magenta Plantation before the plantation land was separated and sold in 1892. The property was then owned by Arnaud Robert and his wife Ernestine Guidry. Their daughter, Marie Alzire Robert, was married to Edgard Goulas.
