Mammograms can detect changes before they can be seen or felt, helping identify breast cancer at an earlier stage.

A little preventive care can go a long way.

Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer lab tests for routine health screenings like cholesterol and glucose at the 2026 Stephens County Health Fair on Saturday, Oct. 17.

While you're there, visit with participating organizations and explore local resources. Door prizes and giveaways are part of the morning, too.

Stop by between 7 and 11 a.m. at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church, 301 S. Rose Ave. in Breckenridge. The event is free to attend.

The planning event being held at TSTC, follows the 2nd communitywide survey of county, city, and school officials as well as citizens from throughout the region to gauge awareness of current service availability and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion. 📢 IMPORTANT WALK-IN CLINIC UPDATE

We are excited to return to a more traditional check-in process at our clinic!

Beginning TODAY, September 18, 2026, patients arriving for Walk-In Clinic services should come inside the clinic to check in at the registration desk. You will no longer need to call the clinic from your vehicle after parking.

🏥 WALK-IN CLINIC HOURS

Monday–Friday:
🕗 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Saturday & Sunday:
🕗 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
🕑 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM

😷 A KIND REMINDER FOR OUR PATIENTS:
If you are coming to the clinic because you are not feeling well or have symptoms of illness, please wear a mask when entering the clinic. Masks will be available for you when you walk in.

This simple step helps protect our patients, visitors, and healthcare team—especially those who may be more vulnerable to illness. ❤️

🆕We have also made improvements to our clinic to provide separate waiting areas for symptomatic and well patients, helping reduce the spread of illness.

Please come inside the clinic upon arrival and check in with our registration staff.
