Reaching New Heights INNOVATIVE PEDIATRIC SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, and ABA THERAPY

Reaching New Heights offers one on one private speech and language therapy in a comfortable setting. The clients will benefit from individually designed therapy based on an initial evaluation. This therapy can be a supplement to services provided in school or as an option for children who are not receiving school services.


~WHAT DOES AN INITIAL EVALUATION LOOK LIKE? After you make an appointment

for your child to have an initial evaluation, a short questionnaire will be mailed to your home. Based on your concerns, formal and informal assessment tools will be selected to evaluate your child’s speech and language skills. The assessment tools could range from something as formal as standardized tests to something as informal as observing your child interacting with you. The results will be analyzed and provided to you in an evaluation report. Based on the assessment, an individualized plan of therapy will be developed and presented to you for approval.

~WHAT DOES A THERAPY SESSION LOOK LIKE? The typical session is sixty minutes, with consultation time included at the beginning and end of the session. The parents or caregivers are more than welcome to stay during the session and, if they choose, to observe or participate. The therapeutic methodologies and materials will vary based on the child’s individual strengths and weaknesses as well as their interests. The therapy will be evidence based and will be designed to make the biggest impact in the shortest amount of time. At Reaching New Heights, the approach is eclectic, drawing from diverse theories and methods to develop a specialized means of treating each child as a unique individual.

WANTED: Fun, energetic, self-directed, organized, creative individual to provide speech and language therapy to children ages 2 -17. This is a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary therapy center where therapists are treated like family in a comfortable setting. The candidate must possess excellent clinical skills in all speech and language deficits including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia of Speech, and AAC. The candidate must be knowledgeable of developmental norms and demonstrate outstanding clinical writing skills. In addition to clinical skills and knowledge, it is important that this individual is able to develop rapport with colleagues and families as relationships are paramount at Reaching New Heights.
