More Than Music, LLC aims to provide quality musical experiences that have therapeutic and education aims, while creating a fun and loving environment. Whether it be through a Parent and Child class, instrument instruction, or a music therapy session, the potential for growth is held within the simple act of making music.

Let them mix the playdough.

It’s going to be okay, really.

Let them build bridges for toy cars with blocks,
…and bring spoons and bowls into the sandbox.

Let them pull blankets and pillows off their beds to make forts and have tea parties for stuffed animals. 🧸

I know it’s a lot… and maybe the thought of the colors mixing makes your eye twitch… but…

Their imaginations are vast and expansive, they can create magical worlds of make believe and vibrant art, if given the opportunity.

Let them make mud pies, at least once. Let them jump in the puddle…and every now and then, let them mix the playdough.

Let them show you how beautiful the world can be.

Ms. Hilari here! It’s been a minute! I hope everyone is doing well! I have had a few inquiries lately and thought I should update all of the More Than Music families that I hold so dearly in my heart!

I have shared in the past that I have been transitioning into more clinical roles. I have spent the past three years studying Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy and graduated from Lesley University this past May.

This transition meant a lot of closure and goodbyes, but now I have some exciting news!
I am now settled in at Pennsylvania Integrative Clinical Services where I see groups and individuals of all ages and abilities!

If you or your child are looking for a creative approach to therapy, please reach out! I would be so thrilled to see you all again.

I’ll include a video of my therapy space that I have lovingly cultivated to be a creative and welcoming space!
