I am proud to have been named an Influential Woman of the Lehigh Valley, by Lehigh Valley Style.

This was such a humbling experience.

For every me, there are at least 100 other influential women in this area doing work in the name of women.

I look forward to continuing the Pennsylvania Menopause Conference, an event that draws hundreds in the spirit of education, self-care, and connection.

I will also continue my counseling practice’s “pay what you can” model for those in need. We can’t talk about a country’s mental health crisis without doing our best to improve accessibility for all.

Lastly, I will happily continue managing mental health practices. I am inspired by my colleagues and clients everyday.

Congratulations to my fellow nominees: a truly powerful group of amazing women.

It's really that simple.

AI bots don't care if you live or die.

AI bots aren't calling you to come up with a safety plan when your 17 year old discloses to a computer that they are feeling suicidal and have a plan in place to end their lives.

AI bots don't know how you feel about sexuality and as a result may or may NOT be supportive when your child comes out to a laptop.

AI bots aren't thinking about your kid at the end of the day and hoping that they are ok.

We are begging you: sit down and talk to your kids about using AI for their mental health. And turn to licensed counselors. Because at the end of the day, emotional investment matters. And that is something that only a human can offer.

Talk to your kids about sextortion. Talk to your teens about sextortion. Do it every year. Remind them that their lives are so much more valuable than a n**e photo. Remind them not to send n**e photos....but also tell them that if they have or they do in the future and they are blackmailed, you will support them with all of your being.

Educate yourselves and then educate your kids.
