A Partnership Built on Serving the Community in Times of Need

TCR Towing & Recovery, LLC and Higgins General Hospital share a common purpose: serving the community when people need help most.

For more than four decades, TCR has responded to emergencies across west Georgia and east Alabama, providing roadside assistance, accident recovery, heavy-duty towing and transportation services 24 hours a day.

As a family-owned business rooted in Bremen and Haralson County, TCR’s team is often among the first to arrive when individuals and families face unexpected crises on the road. In much the same way, Higgins General Hospital stands ready to provide lifesaving medical care, emergency services and access to healthcare for residents of Haralson County and the surrounding region.

By participating in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program for the past three years, TCR Towing has redirected a portion of its state tax dollars back into the local community by supporting Higgins General Hospital. Through the program, those tax dollars can be invested directly into local healthcare resources that benefit TCR’s employees, customers, families and neighbors.

Higgins General Hospital in Bremen has received the 2026 Georgia HEART Leadership Award! 🏆

The award recognizes the hospital's outstanding leadership, advocacy and impact through the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, which allows Georgia taxpayers to redirect a portion of their state income tax liability to qualifying rural hospitals.

Since 2017, more than $19.2 million in Georgia HEART contributions have helped Higgins General Hospital strengthen services, invest in new technology and expand access to high-quality care close to home.

Thank you to the individuals, families, businesses and community partners whose support continues to make an impact on healthcare in Haralson County and beyond.

You’re invited to a fun, practical way to gain lifesaving skills!

Join us Thursday, Feb. 26, for a FREE, one-hour, hands-only CPR class designed for all ages. Participants will learn the fundamentals of CPR and receive a take-home CPR training kit, including a practice mannequin and DVD.

This event is on Thursday, Feb. 26, at Mount Holly Church in Carrollton. The hour-long class begins at 6:30 p.m. and registration is required!
