Understated elegance. Not every facial plastic surgery is meant to be dramatic. This young woman was bothered by the heaviness of her upper lids, and underwent an upper blepharoplasty about 3 weeks ago.
She looks completely natural and her eye shape has been perfectly maintained, but she looks more awake and lifted. You can see especially in the smiling photos how much less hooding she has in the outer corner of the eye.
Her scars are still fresh, and the pink color and even some small bumps are perfectly normal. Sun protection and scar massage are the key at this time.
She is far from healed, but the results are already speaking for themselves!
Upper blepharoplasty can be done awake under local anesthesia or asleep with IV sedation, completely per patient preference.

Improved symmetry, improved lateral hooding with smile. The upper lid space is much less “crowded”, eyes appear more open.
It is perfectly normal for incisions to be pink at this stage, and frequently have small beads of scar tissue that can be felt with the fingertip. These respond well to massage and scar gel. The color fades naturally with time and sun protection.
