Here's one from another happy customer--

I’m a 47 yr old female and I’ve had symptomatic dry eyes for the past 3 yrs but not bad enough to interfere with my life. In june 2020 my vision started drastically changing. I’m already extremely nearsighted.
When I went to my eye doctor in oct 2020 he said my eyes were so dry he couldn’t do a proper exam. He prescribed me xiidra and inserted puntal plugs into my lower tear ducts. I think around that time I found this group and started researching everything I could about dry eye disease.

Here is where everything changed !!
I watched an interview posted in a dry eye group I’m a member. Dr. Travis Zigler interviewed Dr. James Rynerson. He is the CEO and creator of blephEx.
After watching this I knew I had to see this doctor. I live in South Carolina and his practice is in Brentwood, TN. It’s a 16hr round trip, we do this in one day.
My first visit with him was 2 months ago. I was diagnosed with stage 2 B MGD.
TBUT right eye 3
TBUT left eye 5
He spent 2 hours with me. The first hour was all education about the root cause of dry eye disease ( see his interview)
Then he examed my lids and took pictures of my glands and lids
He also took out my plugs. Plugs are foreign objects and can’t trap cytokines on the eyes and create more biofilm. You will learn about biofilm in his interview.
I had my first blephEx treatment followed by iLux
He also prescribed FML drops
I Followed up 2 weeks later
TBUT right eye went from 3 to 5
TBUT left eye went from 6-7
Had another treatment of blephEx and iLux and he switched me from FML to prednisone drops
Today was my 3rd followup
4 weeks after 2nd treatment
TBUT right eye went from 5-12
TBUT left eye went from 7-10
Woohoo!!!!!!
Had another blephEx and iLux treatment and my oil production is amazing.
We are both so happy with my progress
I hardly ever use drops except for the prescription prednisone drops. I use heat 1-2 x daily
My main issue now is inflammation of my lid margins and the biofilm
I will continue with monthly combo treatments of blephEx and iLux and hopefully I will soon be able to Space them out and once I’m in maintenance mode it will just be every 6 months.
Please Don’t give up.
I was at the point of severe depression and not wanting to go on one more day and now I have hope!!!!

This is a 22 year old college student. The first picture was taken a week or so before the BlephEx treatment... aside from the scruff on the lashes, look at the inflammation just above the lash line. The second picture was taken after the BlephEx treatment.
