The American Heart Association has officially released the new 2025 CPR Guidelines, and all BLS & Heartsaver classes are now being taught with these updates as of March 1, 2026.

Here’s what’s changed 👇

✔ Updated breathing techniques
✔ Easier, more streamlined AED use
✔ New choking guidelines (5 back blows + 5 thrusts)
