" To travel is to live"- Hans Christian Andersen said. We travelled yesterday and took 11 residents!!! We took a scenic drive to Nolensville. They were thrilled to get out of the house and see more nature, animals, and the community.

Are We There Yet, our September Theme was celebrated in grand style yesterday. We took the Square residents to join the Assisted Living and Independant Living residents in touring and tasting other countries. It started with marking a country we had visited on a HUGE map, getting a passport, tasting a food from each country and ended with a reminisce session. We have many residents that are WORLD travelers and they said, the tour today was "marvelous"! Several residents that attended are not pictured. Here are some of the pictures we took on our tour.

🌎✨Our big event this month, "Around the World with Harmony," was so much fun! Our residents enjoyed interactive activities and delicious snacks representing each of our featured countries.

Harmony Square's Cooking Club is at it again! This week we prepared Cherry Cobbler and enjoyed it with vanilla ice cream for our tasting Tuesday.

What a wonderful way to end a delicious dinner last night! 🎶 Our residents enjoyed listening to Melvin play the piano, filling the room with beautiful music, smiles, and good cheer. What a special evening!

We welcomed some new residents to Harmony Square today!

Seven beautiful finches and their aviary have been moved into the family area of the activity space in Harmony Square for everyone to enjoy. The aviary is home to three different species of finches, all of them young birds.

As they settle into their new home, we look forward to watching them thrive. With a little time and care, we hope they will eventually raise their families here in Harmony Square, providing our residents great joy!

We had the chance to check out HoneyFire BBQ today, and it did not disappoint! 🔥 The food was absolutely delicious, the flavors were spot on, and the friendly atmosphere made it even better. There's nothing like supporting a great local restaurant and enjoying an amazing meal. If you haven't tried HoneyFire BBQ yet, it's definitely worth a visit!
