💡 DID YOU KNOW? TOP 5 FACTS ABOUT OUR MODERNIZATION PROJECT

What could modernization mean for patients at Three Rivers Hospital? Here are five things to know about the proposed project if you are still looking for information:

1. Easier access to care.
A new, centralized entrance would connect hospital and clinic services, making it easier to find where you need to go. Expanded parking and a dedicated ambulance bay attached to the ER are also planned.

2. More connected healthcare.
A new electronic medical record system, EPIC, would help connect your care between Three Rivers and other healthcare providers. Patients would also have access to MyChart to view medical records, track appointments and communicate with their care teams.

3. Bringing our hospital into the 21st century.
The project would update aging electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other essential systems while creating more modern spaces for patient care.

4. Better spaces for patients and providers.
Plans include expanded operating rooms, updated radiology space for modern imaging equipment, and renovated inpatient rooms with private bathrooms and showers.

5. Have questions? We have answers!
We know a project of this size raises important questions. Our website includes project details, planned improvements, financial information, and frequently asked questions.

Our Surgery team uses 21st century equipment and technology every day, in a space that was built long before any of it existed.

In this Reel, CEO Scott Graham and Facilities Manager Rob Wylie explain how the proposed modernization project would update our surgery department. Then Surgery RN Eroca Crofoot and Surgery Manager Michelle Welton, RN, share what those changes would mean for the care they provide.

In the meantime, nothing changes for patients. Our Surgery team is here, scheduling procedures, and ready to take care of you. The building is simply older than the technology inside it.
