Hi there! 👋✨

With a few new faces around here, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Stacy Allender, the therapist and owner behind Sowing Seeds Therapy. 🌿

I started this practice because I believe everyone deserves a safe, judgment-free space to heal, grow, and navigate life’s ups and downs. My therapy style is collaborative, warm, and focused on helping you sow seeds of growth and resilience in your everyday life.

When I’m not in the therapist chair, you can find me in my garden, spending time with my family, or knitting.

Whether you’re here for a bit of mental health encouragement or are actively looking for support, I’m so glad you’re following along.
If you or someone you know is ready to start a healing journey, feel free to explore my page, send a message, or visit the link in my bio to schedule a consultation! 🤍

Wishing you a peaceful Easter Sunday.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

Happy World Social Work Day to all our social workers, students, alumni and community members! 🧡

Today, we recognize the impact of a profession rooted in care, connection, and collective progress. Social workers play a vital role in strengthening communities. They advocate for equity, support individuals and families, and help bridge divides across cultures and systems.

From local neighborhoods to the global stage, social work reminds us that meaningful change happens when we work together. Whether responding to immediate needs or shaping long-term solutions, social workers continue to build pathways toward hope, resilience, and belonging for people everywhere.

At , we recognize the importance of, and need for, social work as a global priority. From student internship opportunities around the world to faculty dedicated to research and impact on a global scale, our Global Programs seek to foster global collaboration. We invite you to check out the stories of our students and faculty as we celebrate World Social Work Day. https://loom.ly/49JpXLQ

Where are you—right now?

Not where you should be.
Not where you used to be.
Not where you think everyone else is.

Just… where you are today.

This continuum isn’t a diagnosis or a character judgment. It’s a snapshot of how prolonged exposure to stress, trauma, sleep disruption, and moral weight shows up in the body and mind.

You can move back and forth on this scale.
You can be high-functioning and injured at the same time.
And needing support doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means your nervous system has been doing its job for too long without relief.

If you’re in Ready → protect it.
If you’re Reacting → intervene early.
If you’re Injured → care is treatment, not failure.
If you’re Critical → this is an emergency, and you deserve help now.

The most important question isn’t “What’s wrong with me?”
It’s “What do I need at this point on the continuum?”

Movement toward the left is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone.
