Big news! 😊 Our Children’s Program is now accepting children ages 7–12 at all GenPsych locations, expanding from our previous age range of 8–12.

That means children can now access support starting at age 7! 💙

Our Substance Use Disorder Treatment program is available to all in Brick, Bridgewater, and Livingston, New Jersey, offering Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual and group therapy, relapse-prevention support, and coping skills, with care tailored to each person’s needs.

Asking for help doesn’t mean you’ve failed; it means you’re ready to do something about it.

As the colder months approach, GenPsych is proud to partner with Empower Somerset to collect winter clothing for local veterans in need. 🧥

If you have a winter coat or jacket in your closet that you no longer need, consider giving it a second purpose this season.

From now through December 1, we’re accepting new or gently used winter coats, heavy jackets, zip-ups, hoodies, sweatshirts, and crewnecks at all GenPsych locations. Donated items should be in good condition and have working zippers.

Let’s come together to support our veterans and help keep those who served warm this winter. ❤️

Lunch? Learning? Good conversations?We had all three!

We had a great time at our recent GenPsych Lunch & Learn in Wayne, where we brought professionals together to learn more about our Adult Trauma Track, share ideas, ask questions, and have some really good conversations around trauma-informed care.

It was a great afternoon, and we’re glad we got to spend it with so many people who care about supporting the communities they serve.

Here’s a little look at how the day went! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon such a great one!

GenPsych was at the Parsippany High School’s Game of Life event! 💙

We had the chance to meet with students, talk about mental health, and share resources with them.

Stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD are things students can actually recognize and relate to, so it’s best to tell them the truth about these things, why they happen, and what they can do when they’re struggling.

We love that these conversations are happening early because knowing that support is available and knowing where to find it can go a long way when things gets a little overwhelming.

GenPsych Rochelle Park now offers Dual Diagnosis Programs for adults experiencing mental health conditions alongside secondary substance use issues. This program provides integrated care that focuses on the underlying mental health needs while also supporting individuals in managing substance use that may impact their recovery.

At GenPsych, we believe effective treatment looks at the whole person. Thus, our Dual Diagnosis Program allows us to provide more comprehensive support so individuals can take meaningful steps toward recovery and improved mental health.
