For Dan, giving back is deeply personal.

In honor of his father, he helps lead two meaningful events each year, the Danny “Buck” Kane Charity Golf Outing and the Irish Whisper Walk of Hope. Both support the Lymphoma Research Foundation and keep his father’s memory alive in a powerful way.

What makes it even more special is the unwavering support from his coworkers, who show up year after year to stand beside him.

Shoulder pain at night isn’t random, there’s usually a reason it flares up when you lie down.

When you sleep, the shoulder loses some muscular support and experiences more direct pressure. If the area is already irritated or sensitive, certain sleeping positions can increase discomfort even more.

One simple adjustment that may help: placing a pillow under your arm to better support the shoulder and reduce pressure while you sleep.
Small changes in positioning can make a big difference in recovery and comfort.

For Luis, physical therapy stands out in the medical field for one key reason: connection.

He values the opportunity to build real relationships with his patients, getting to know their stories and being part of their recovery journey. For him, the most rewarding moment is watching patients walk out the door feeling better than when they walked in stronger, more confident, and closer to getting back to the life they love.

That’s what makes the work meaningful.

For our clinician, Samantha Jensen, physical therapy goes far beyond the physical.

As a former high school athlete, she experienced firsthand how recovery isn’t just about the body it’s also about the mind. That perspective now shapes how she treats every patient she works with.
