At The Avalon, we are honored to support team members who want to grow their careers through available opportunities offered like tuition reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and professional growth. Sophia and Erick are wonderful examples of what that support can help make possible.

Sophia joined Avalon as a CNA while attending college, completing her clinicals, and working toward her RN degree. Erick joined Avalon as an LPN, working full time while continuing his education to earn his RN degree. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate that both have successfully completed their programs and passed their required licensing requirements!

Even while balancing work and school, Sophia and Erick continued to provide our residents with exceptional care, kindness, and service while supporting their fellow team members. Their accomplishments reflect exactly the kind of dedication and growth we are proud to celebrate at Avalon.

Our residents were pasta-tively delighted to enjoy a wonderful afternoon out at Bensi of Whitehouse! 🍝❤️ With the combination of delicious food and great conversation, it was a great opportunity to enjoy a change of scenery and spend time together. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure, especially when it includes something delicious on the menu!

Happy end of summer Birthdays! 🎂 Our Residents enjoyed Dan the Piano Man as he kept the celebration lively with a fantastic performance, while Serenity Hospice provided a beautiful birthday cake for everyone to enjoy. 🎶🍰

Our residents were delighted to welcome the Hillsborough Rockettes for a wonderful dance performance! 💃✨ The talented dancers brought energy, enthusiasm, and beautiful choreography to our community. Our residents loved watching the performance and cheering them on. Thank you to the Hillsborough Rockettes for sharing your incredible talents and brightening our day! ❤️

A little teamwork, a little sweetness, and a whole lot of fun! 🍑🥧
In celebration of National Peach Month, our residents rolled up their sleeves and put their baking skills to work creating a delicious homemade peach pie. From preparing the ingredients to enjoying that first sweet bite, the experience brought everyone together around the simple joy of making and sharing something special.

We had such an amazing time welcoming Team 75 Robotics from Hillsborough High School for an exciting robotics demonstration! The team showed our residents their incredible robot, which can pick up and hold 35 yellow balls and then eject them into the air. 🎉

Our residents had an absolute blast trying to catch the flying balls, cheering each other on, and watching the robot in action! It was so much fun to see their excitement and engagement throughout the demonstration.

We’re also so proud to share that Team 75 recently took 1st place at their competition! 🏆 What an incredible accomplishment!

A huge thank you to Team 75 for spending time with our residents and sharing their passion, creativity, and hard work with us. It was truly such a cool experience! 🤖💛
