🐝 Congratulations to our Woodland Village Senior Spelling Bee Team! 🐝

Today our residents proudly represented Woodland Village at the Annual Senior Spelling Bee. While our team did not place this year, we couldn’t be more proud of their determination, courage, and sportsmanship.

A special congratulations goes to Marilyn, who successfully made it through an impressive 9 rounds, and to Nancy, who battled her way through an incredible 12 rounds before being eliminated!

Participating in events like these takes confidence, quick thinking, and a love of learning, and our residents demonstrated all of those qualities today. Please join us in celebrating Marilyn, Nancy, and all of the participants who represented Woodland Village so well.

Way to go, ladies! We are proud of you! 💛🐝📚

Today, we say goodbye to two very special members of our Woodland Village family, George and Rebecca.

They have faithfully led our Bible study, sharing their wisdom, encouragement, and love of God’s Word with so many of our residents. Their kindness, compassion, and servant hearts have made a lasting impact on our community.

As they begin this exciting new chapter in Texas to be closer to family, we want them to know how grateful we are for the time, friendship, and spiritual guidance they have shared with us. While we will certainly miss seeing them each week, we are happy for them as they embark on this new adventure.

Please join us in wishing George and Rebecca safe travels, many blessings, and much happiness in their new home. Thank you both for everything you have meant to Woodland Village. You will always be part of our family and will be greatly missed. ❤️

We had a fantastic time celebrating the special men of Woodland Village with our Guys Grill Out this week in honor of Father’s Day! ☀️🍽️

The gentlemen enjoyed a delicious patio lunch featuring pork loin, baked beans, corn, and ambrosia salad while spending time together and making memories.

The fun didn’t stop there! Our men put their skills to the test with golf, axe throwing, and horse racing games, bringing out plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and smiles.

Thank you to all of the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have made such a difference in the lives of others. We were honored to celebrate you! 💙⛳🪓🏇
