BMC Brighton is right down the street from her religious congregation, Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston and is symbolic of her village: a supportive circle of compassionate doctors and loved ones who guide her every step of the way.

This Mother’s Day, we are proud to spotlight the mother and son duo Jane Chang and Phil Chang, members of the BMC Brighton family for the past 10 years.

Jane works in Medical Records, ensuring patient information is accurately maintained and accessible to support seamless, high-quality care. She shared that one of the most rewarding parts of her role is the strong teamwork and close relationships she has built with her colleagues.

Phil is the IT Manager, playing an essential role in maintaining the technology and systems that keep hospital operations and patient care running efficiently each day. He reflected on how meaningful it has been to work alongside his mom and witness her dedication and commitment over the years.

Danielle Kinney's medical journey started with her Apple Watch. Increasingly concerning data patterns on her heart rate led to the discovery of a rare and complex heart condition that occurs in only .002 percent of the population.

BMC Brighton's Dr. Joseph Carrozza and Dr. Arvind Agnihotri, both recognized by Boston Magazine's Top Doctors list, led Danielle's care, which was complex and had very little precedent.
