We have been having fun finding lots of ways to celebrate our nation’s 250 birthday! We have talked a lot about what we were doing in 1976 and a lot of us made time capsules! What do you think we should add to our time capsules? Stay tuned!
Here are just some highlights from watching fireworks from the deck with our night owls we also had a fireworks party complete with patriotic snacks to watch the Detroit fireworks on TV. We also were able to watch a Fourth of July Parade! And everyone loves a parade! And of course we grilled out!

Yesterday we helped a special family honor our dear resident on her 88th birthday! So special for her to be surrounded by love on her special day! We all enjoyed a pizza party and her favorite Saunders Bumpy cake for dessert!

Lincoln has had a lot of firsts! His first car ride not on mom’s lap! His first vet appointment with Lily— yes that is them asleep on the floor of the waiting room! It doesn’t get much calmer than that! And for being such good dogs they got his first pup cup!
