What a truly special party we had here at dawn hill!

Last week we were absolutely overjoyed and so excited to celebrate a magnificent milestone with our dear resident Flo as she turned 100!

Our dining room was overflowing with love, laughter and well wishes from family and friends all coming together to honor Flo!

Karaoke Rick kept everyone smiling with his fantastic entertainment, and we indulged in the most delicious cake and a beautiful fruit spread. It was a day filled with pure happiness and love for our wonderful friend, Flo!

Reflecting on this past week’s "Donkey Day" at Dawnhill Nursing Home, and we are just overwhelmed with gratitude. We opened our doors to the community, and the turnout was spectacular!

There is nothing quite like seeing the faces of our residents light up as they spent the day surrounded by their loved ones, our dedicated staff, and so many wonderful children from the community. With special guests Joey Marshall, an amazing magician, face painting, and a balloon artist, the joy was truly contagious.

The hot dogs, popcorn, and ice cream were flowing, but the best part of the day was the heartfelt connections being made everywhere you looked.

Thank you for making this such a happy, beautiful day for our residents. We love being part of this community! ✨

Ice cream sundae bar + the King = an epic week at Dawn Hill!
We had so much fun with all the delicious toppings!
Mid week the king him self showed up and had us all shook up dancing in our blue suede shoes!
You never know what fun is going to happen next but its always a good time at Dawn Hill!
Thank you to ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTIST MIKE SLATER for another great show and giving each member in the audience individual attention and really just making our day!

Another great week here at Dawn Hill we had an amazing performance from the one and only Tony Sims – he really brought the house down! Our cooking club whipped up some delicious tomato sandwiches using fresh tomatoes straight from our very own garden club! We got our creative juices flowing, painting some adorable porcelain stepping stones to jazz up our patio! Friday afternoon was all about grilling hamburgers and hot dogs! And to end our week some of us hopped in the van for a sweet trip to the Ice Cream Barn to cool down. It's been another fantastic, fun-filled week here at Dawn Hill!

Hey everyone! Get ready for a photo dump because we've been making the most of our summer!

We've been soaking up the sun on our beautiful patio getting our exercise on and cooling down with plenty of ice cream!
Bingo has been a blast and we've enjoyed delicious root beer floats and refreshing Dell's lemonade. Our kickball games have been legendary and the cooking club whipped up some amazing bruschetta!
We even had two awesome beach trips with picnic lunches! 🏖️

Creativity has been flowing with tons of arts and crafts from painting rocks to porcelain figures. Our garden group has been busy planting beautiful flowers and yummy veggies. And talk about entertainment! We've been grooving to Jiving Joey Marshall, Bob Trembley, Russ, Marvin, and Tom Sullivan! 🎶

We are absolutely loving our summer here at Dawn Hill Stay tuned for more fun updates! 🎉
