There’s nothing quite like Independence Day in Bristol, Rhode Island! 🇺🇸

Our residents celebrated an incredible Fourth of July week with festive fireworks crafts, a delicious holiday luncheon complete with fresh watermelon to beat the summer heat, and of course, a trip to the oldest continuous Independence Day parade in the nation!

As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we were proud to share in the tradition, community spirit, and patriotic pride that make Bristol so special.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this week so memorable for our amazing residents. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Happy Day of Portugal from your Silver Creek family! 🇵🇹

We had an incredible celebration filled with traditional Portuguese food, music, dancing, and community spirit. We even hosted our own car show out back with live music for everyone to enjoy! Thank you to our staff and community partners who came together to make this a fantastic celebration.

Silver Creek closed out Nursing Home Week with a double feature! First, we got tropical and fired up the grill for residents and staff — burgers, dogs, and more, topped off with fresh watermelon for dessert! 🍉🌴

Then, we Sprung into Cinema with a classic on the big screen and fresh popcorn for everyone to enjoy! 🍿🎬

We wrapped up the celebration with a fan-favorite: BIG MONEY Bingo! 💵🎉

A final Thank You to all the staff, residents, families and partners who make Silver Creek a place of community and warmth. Here’s to another unforgettable Nursing Home Week! 💚

Day 4 of Nursing Home Week was the best day yet! 🤠🌵 “Yellow Rose of Texas” had us dressed in our western best! Staff enjoyed lunch from the amazing food truck BBQ Y Mas, while our residents were treated to a delicious BBQ lunch with peach cobbler for dessert and a visit from the incredible country artist Charlie Marie! 🎶🍑

We also had the privilege of honoring one of our long-time CNA’s, Lola, with the CECA Award! 🏆 Her supervisors and peers had so many wonderful things to say about her — all true, well-deserved, and a reflection of the compassion and dedication she brings every day. 💛 Thank you Lola!
