My work schedule doesn’t begin and end with your appointment time.
It stretches from early mornings to late evenings—often long before and after I see clients.
For example, just this morning I was here two hours before my first client, and I’ll be here about four hours after my last one, making sure everything is prepared, organized, and finished before I leave for the day.
That time includes preparing the space for you, setting out seasonal retail (like special Fourth of July goodies or new skincare I’m excited to share), ordering and organizing supplies, designing customized treatment plans ahead of your visit, and coming in early or staying late to make sure everything is clean, calm, and held to the highest standard.
Well before your appointment, I’m already thinking about your session—how to best support your body, what techniques will be most effective, and how to tailor your treatment to help you move forward in your wellness journey.
It also includes coming in early to set up for client birthdays and special events—adding decorations, thoughtful touches, and sometimes small gifts to make each visit feel personal, celebrated, and special.
It also includes social media marketing, because these days it’s not enough to simply be a great Massage Therapist—you also have to wear many hats, including content creator, marketing manager, and even AI-assisted strategist, just to keep a small business visible and growing.
A lot of what I do isn’t “on the clock” or directly paid time—but it’s part of what goes into running a small, independent business and creating a truly elevated experience.
I do it because I care about the details, and because this is what being an entrepreneur really looks like behind the scenes.
Thank you for supporting that level of dedication and heart in your self-care
