Laughing, running, jumping, coughing and sneezing may all be parts of motherhood, but leaking p*e shouldn’t be.

You’re not doomed to a life of panty liners “just incase” just because you’re a woman or a mom! Pelvic floor therapy can help. Text, call or send an email to [email protected] to see how!

Meet your therapist: Mary

I love books, learning new things, pretty flowers, and a good cup of coffee. I love being a mom to my two kiddos, and making workouts fun so I have the energy to chase them around and pick them up even when they’re grown. And I especially LOVE my job. Being an OT is so special to me, and once you get me talking about pelvic floors, I can’t stop. It’s genuinely a passion! The biggest blessing is getting to help other women be able to participate in their passions confidently without worrying about pain, pressure, or p*eing! 🫣🫶🏻

My books are opening limited spots as I come back from maternity leave so call, text, or email if you have any questions about if pelvic floor therapy is right for you!

Did you know how you wear your baby could be affecting your pelvic floor, especially in those early days postpartum! This post isn’t to sell any type of carrier, just showcase the difference in some of them and what I might look for if we were assessing the best carrier for you! This is not ALL the types of baby wearing, and it’s not a one size fits all. We look for pressure management, fit, comfort, and posture/positioning for both you AND baby!

What was your favorite type of carrier for the early postpartum days??

What 3 weeks postpartum can look like! I’m focusing on small intentional movement to reconnect to my core and pelvic floor working on gentle coordination of movement with my breath!

That may sound complicated but the way I could fit it in today was by turning it into a game with my oldest! Early exercises shouldn’t be about intensity, just intentionally moving!

I’m thrilled to announce that we welcomed our second son on February 2nd.

These last two weeks I have really focused on resting and recovering and bonding/feeding.

My pelvic floor recovery started night 1 with 360 breathing, and has continued with gentle restorative stretches to help aid my recovery and nourish my body! If you or someone you know is also recently postpartum remember to check out the free postpartum recovery guide pinned at the top of my page, and I’ll leave a link to Download in the comments!

Hey, it’s been a while! How about a little update?

First I want to say a thank you to all my clients and friends who have been referring me to people as someone you trust to take you through your pelvic health journey! It is an honor I do not take lightly!

Secondly, if you are new here, checking out the page, or wondering if I’m still practicing since I havent been posting as much, I am just here to say yes! However, we are welcoming our newest family member very soon so my books are currently closed and I will make an announcement when they open back up.

I am hopeful that 2026 brings a lot of new exciting things for Busy Bodies, but for now I am focusing on bringing another baby earthside an going through my own pelvic floor recovery!

If you’re interested in following along on the postpartum journey and what pelvic health rehab can look like in early postpartum be sure you are following this page and have your notifications turned on!

I can’t wait to open books and connect with you all again shortly!

Sincerely,

Your friendly pelvic floor OT.
