We are doing something BIG September 25th!!! The residents are hosting Off Broadway’s volleyball team for a noodle ball match up! We are expecting fierce competition!! But we have been practicing!! Game day is Friday at 9:30 am.

Today was Farmers Market for our residents!! Lots of fresh vegetables and fruit!! We also had a special visitor, Mason Govier from the Broken Bow FFA. Residents got to use a VR headset to tour Mason’s greenhouse and even got to go for a ride on the 4 wheeler though the corn field using the VR headset. Thank You to the Broken Bow FFA and Mason for coming to Brookestone!! Thank you to a few community members who donated some vegetables.

Living with Purpose
As a retired teacher, she has always found purpose in teaching, encouraging, and connecting with others. Together, we came up with the idea of a large coloring sheet for her room—not only to give her a meaningful activity, but to create a reason for others to stop by, visit, and spend time with her.
It’s a simple idea that has created meaningful connections and reminded us that purpose doesn’t end when we move into a senior living community—it simply takes on a new form.

From Caring for Others to Calling the Game! 🏐❤️

By day, these two ladies dedicate their time to making a difference at Brookestone View — Lindsay as our Therapy Director and Candi as our Life Enrichment Coordinator. Their days are filled with helping others, creating meaningful moments, and caring for the people they serve.

Then, after a full day of work, they traded their work shoes for tennis shoes and stepped onto the court last night as high school volleyball line judges!

Their commitment, energy, and willingness to give back in so many ways is something to be proud of. Two busy ladies, one long day, and still showing up to support high school students! 👏🏐
