Good news. Barker road is back open. Only road closure is River road and the construction lane closures on Capitol. 🌞🤩😍.

Update to Temporary Road Closures Due to Flooding:

River Rd from Brookfield Rd to Mitchell Park Dr remains closed, but all other roads have now been opened. You can access Mitchell Park and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts from Capitol Drive.

Wow, so much rain this week. Please be aware of some flooded roads in Brookfield or just take your kayak instead 🤣. Conditions can change any time but i would expect the Fox River to keep rising as more runoff drains into it.

Construction update:
Capitol Dr is being resurfaced from 124th St to just past Brookfield Rd. Pedestrician walkways are getting redone to be ADA accessible. There is one lane closed in both directions on Capitol Dr. At the lights on Brookfield Rd and Capitol, there is a lane closure going through the intersection North and South.
PLEASE allow for more time to get to the office or plan an alternative route. I've heard Brookfield Rd is much easier to get through than Calhoun.
Here is the construction info for anyone interested. Looks like construction goes through June 1st at our intersection.

Just a heads up to all patients traveling on Brookfield Road and Capitol Drive.
Edited to add: Capitol Dr. has the right lane closed from 124th all the way to Brookfield road!
Construction has started today at the lighted intersection. There is a lane closure for people driving across Capitol on Brookfield Road. They will eventually be resurfacing Capitol Drive between Brookfield Road and 124th St. and they are redoing all the pedestrian ramps along that corridor. That appears to be what will be started first. Please plan for extra time to get through during peak periods. Good luck out there!

I opened up some appointment times on Thursday afternoon for anyone that needed to get in before I am out of the office for 10 days soaking in some beach time. Snag them before they are gone.
