As a council member, you'll have the opportunity to share your experiences, offer ideas and work alongside PHS staff and leadership to help improve patient care, communication, services and the overall patient and family experience.

You don't need a healthcare background to participate! We're looking for former patients, family members and caregivers who are willing to share their perspectives and help us see healthcare through the eyes of those we serve.

Mammograms can detect breast cancer before symptoms appear, when it may be easier to treat. Staying current with recommended screenings is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your breast health.

The Pershing Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Book & Gift Sale is coming up Thursday, October 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the old hospital lobby!

Come find a new read or two, pick up a cool gift item, or get a head start on your holiday shopping — all while supporting a great cause right here at home.

Proceeds from the Auxiliary’s fundraising efforts help provide renewable scholarships to local graduating seniors pursuing careers in healthcare. Each year, the Auxiliary supports up to 14 students as they work toward their healthcare careers.
